When Halloween arrives, so does spooky season! And while we typically go with silly over scary, a little spooky can be fun, and this year I designed our Halloween table with a spooky manor theme.
I started this table with something a little wild in mind, so my accents tended towards snakes, toads, and a faux fur throw for the table. I set the foundation with a plain white tablecloth that I layered with a sheer black and snake print fabric I found at a local fabric store.
Then I added florals and elevated them on a book I found at Home Goods that tied perfectly into my spooky manor theme!
Some black thistle and butterflies in mercury votives complemented each place setting.
I typically use layers when I design a place setting, but these skull dinner plates I found at Home Goods were too spooky not to stand on their own! With a black and white feather placemat underneath (these I found at Williams Sonoma a few years ago) and a gold charger, this place setting was perfectly matched with the rest of the table’s spooky theme.
Black and red napkins got a little glam touch with gold snake napkin rings I found at Z Gallerie, and I finished off the place setting with black crystal wine goblets and gold etched water glasses to match the trim in the dinner plate.
Spooky accents finished off this Halloween table design. Pillar candle holders being held by bejeweled skeleton hands were reminiscent of an homage to past relatives! Crystal balls, a butterfly adorned skull and eerie mercury glass containers all added those final accents to the table design that make it come to life!
A few silver pumpkins around the table added some extra shine while still keeping the table slightly spooky!
A final add of a snake protecting the florals tied into the tablecloth and the wild side of the table design.
The final table was perfectly spooky, with a little bit of glamour added. We loved it, and I hope you did too!
Thank you for joining me today! I hope you enjoyed reading how this spooky manor Halloween table came together and found a few new ideas for your next Halloween design. Until next time, cheers!
